Why one download per page?
A single combined download can't represent separate pages. Listing each page lets you grab just the ones you need. For very large PDFs this produces many small files — that's expected.
How do I choose which pages to extract?
Use ranges (e.g. 3-7) or individual page numbers. Splitting pulls just those pages into a new file, leaving the originals untouched.
Does splitting break internal links?
Cross-reference links to pages outside the extracted range will point to missing pages. Within-range links stay intact; plan the split around logical sections.
